Countless variables, and often pure luck, can factor into pulling off a memorable, even life-altering performance. Some you can control, others you cannot, but the new CXSmk3 passive subwoofer takes luck out of the equation, offering outstanding performance, flexibility, and reliability for professional environments that put a premium on their bass sound.
With an acoustic design that consistently delivers linear VLF performance, the highly-durable, Polyurea coated enclosure houses Yamaha’s own long-excursion, high-performance speaker unit, and features an ideal bandpass structure for smooth and deep frequency response—even at higher outputs. With the CXSmk3 reliably delivering your bass with serious power and startling precision, you’ll never have to question if your bottom end performance can rise to the occasion when you need it most.
The CXS18mk3 is the largest model of Yamaha’s latest generation of CXS series passive subwoofers that delivers deep, clear, and remarkably powerful, ultra-low bass thanks to our proprietary high-durability transducers, and an ideal bandpass structure that eliminates unwanted cabinet noise. When paired with our perfectly matched CXRmk3 series loudspeakers in particular, the CXS18mk3 enables users to build a seamlessly integrated sound system with unparalleled impact.
