The sound is great and talk about simple.It is lacking in the mixer area when compared to the competition in the sub $2000 price range.I think their intent was pure simplicity.There's no screen with EQ presets,just a knob that can be turned from speech,to music,then club.I'd say turning towards club...

I like the ease of set up. I was concerned about the number of inputs at first however I got an input mixer for our guitars and used that signal in input 3 and all is well. We do not even need a separate monitor system. We used it for the first time last evening at our gig. 👍 👍 up

Yes, this would work just fine! The MK II has 3 combo jacks on the back, so you'd be able to use the line out from your keyboard to the speaker.
