Guitars and basses are steeped in a rich history and tradition that could fill their own special library. Sire Guitars knows the importance of honoring the past and mastering the necessary build techniques. Where they go the extra distance is by taking bigger steps forward to meet and exceed the needs of today's live performers, studio magicians, and forward-thinking content creators. That means loads of playtesting, looking for sonic and visual inspiration from all walks of life, and listening to input from hard-working creatives who are exploring their art daily - all so they can confidently add new touches to their lineup of instruments. And while the term ‘vintage' in the guitar world is good thing, it doesn't do very much when it's locked behind a display case. Sire's ‘vintage-ness' captures that bit of special essence, but most importantly it is meant to be played!!! With bold stylistic and functional features such as their rolled fretboard edges and specially treated necks for maximum comfort to go along with their chosen hardware and electronics for maximum playability, Sire guitars and basses are axes for the people.
