Ever since I was a little kid, I have been fascinated with music and sound. I was the "disassembler" with any electronic device I could get my hands on. I started playing guitar when I was five and got my first electric guitar and amp (which I disassembled) when I was eight.

I played in bands all throughout high school and even started playing at local gigs for hire. Yes, I had to get a fake ID to get into the clubs I was working...

It wasn't long after that I started a professional studio, producing mostly electronic music for jingles and, in 1980, had a chance to intern with the late Albert Grossman at his now-defunct Bearsville studio complex in upstate New York.

My industry background includes time with Electrovoice, Midas, Zoom, Klark Teknik, and some big box retailers. I'm lucky to have met a lot of great people during this time.

In addition to guitar, I also play piano, bass, drums, and lap steel. When I'm not writing or playing, I like to hang with my wife and hound dog and build tiny houses in my backyard.
