It was hard to miss the Yamaha booth at NAMM 2026 because they had poor Simon trapped in a cage! When we went to rescue him, he said he was in there on purpose and showed us the EAD50, Yamaha’s latest drum capture device.

All you have to do is clip the EAD50 to the kick drum (facing the player), hook it up to the module, and you’re ready to record the full drum kit.
